Managing a team involves tracking many aspects, such as performance reviews, training requests, and individual goals.
The My Team page organizes all this employee information in one place, giving managers a clear view of their team’s progress and alignment.
📌 Note: The My team page is specifically designed for managers. If you do not have any direct reports assigned to you in Tellent, this page will not be visible in your navigation menu.
Navigate the My team dashboard
To access this space, click My team under the Grow section of your left-hand navigation menu.
At the top of the tabs within the My team page, you’ll see charts and graphs. These give you a quick overview of your team’s metrics before you dive into the detailed tables below.
The dashboard is divided into four main tabs: Reviews, Goals, Training, and Team.
Reviews tab
The Reviews tab serves as your hub for monitoring and managing your team’s performance evaluations and 1-on-1 reviews.
Filter and search reviews
Easily find specific evaluations by typing a title in the search bar or using the quick-filter dropdowns:
Collaborators
Status (e.g., Not started, In progress, Completed)
Review type
Monitor team reviews
The Team reviews card displays a visual breakdown of your active review cycle, showing you exactly how many reviews are completed, in progress, or not yet started.
Manage reviews from My team page
To initiate a new review or modify an existing one:
1. Click New review in the top-right corner.
2. Click the three dots icon (...) on the far right of any existing review row to edit, delete, or view details.
Goals tab
The Goals tab helps you ensure your direct reports are aligned with company objectives and tracking toward success.
Monitor goal completion
Goal completion percentage: View the average progress of all team goals combined.
Goal stats: A visual donut chart categorizing goals by their status (On track, At risk, Off track, or Not started).
Update and edit goals
View and update progress: Click any goal in the table to view its key results and adjust its completion percentage.
Modify goal settings: Click the three dots icon (...) on the right side of a goal’s row to edit its targets, change the time period, or delete it.
Add or import goals: Click New goal to create a single objective from scratch, or click Import goals to upload multiple objectives at once.
Training tab
The Training tab lists all professional development courses and training programs registered for your team members.
Check training status
The main table displays the training title, priority level (e.g., P3), owner, current approval status (e.g., Pending HR approval), and completion status.
Submit a new training request
If you identify a skills gap or a career development opportunity:
1. Click New training request in the top-right corner.
2. Fill out the training details, select the team member, and assign a priority level.
3. Click Submit.
💡 Tip: Training approval workflows depend heavily on your organization's internal settings. Once submitted, some requests may require secondary sign-off from your HR team before they are officially greenlit.
Team tab
The Team tab provides a clean directory of your direct reports and their overarching progress.
From this tab, you can:
View each team member’s name, job title, and progress bar for overall goal completion.
Use the Collaborators filter or search bar to quickly locate a specific employee.
Click on any team member’s name to instantly open their individual employee profile, where you can view deeper details regarding their career path, history, and development.
