You’ve already sourced some great candidates, or applications are starting to come in through your careers site. Now it’s time to interview and evaluate them.
We’ll show you how to organize that process here.
Schedule candidate interviews
Scheduling interviews with your candidates can quickly become a logistics nightmare if you don’t have a good system in place. That’s where the Event scheduler comes in.
The Event scheduler syncs your personal calendar with Tellent Recruitee so you can offer candidates a range of suitable times to book an interview or meeting independently.
When inviting multiple interviewers, the scheduler automatically checks for availability and finds open time slots across your team’s connected calendars to prevent scheduling conflicts.
Evaluate your candidates
Evaluations help your hiring team capture structured feedback after screening or interviewing a candidate.
You can add evaluation forms to any stage of your hiring process. Team members complete these forms based on their interactions with the candidate.
Once you’ve created an evaluation form, you can immediately begin using it.
Go to a candidate’s profile and open the Evaluation tab. From here, you can either complete an evaluation form yourself or assign it to other team members.
If you want to proactively gather feedback, you can easily request evaluations from your team:
From the candidate profile: Open the Evaluation tab, and click Request evaluation. You can select an evaluation form and assign it to a colleague right then and there.
Bulk requests: Request evaluations for multiple candidates at once, directly from the pipeline view. Select multiple candidate cards, click More, and choose Request evaluation.
Due dates: Set a clear completion deadline, so your hiring team knows exactly when feedback is needed.
Automations: Set up an automation to send evaluation requests to the right team members as candidates move through the hiring process.
At the end of each evaluation form, team members assign an overall rating to the candidate.
Depending on your company settings, this will display as either a thumbs-based rating or a numbered scale (an administrator can customize this).
As feedback comes in, Tellent Recruitee compiles it into an evaluation summary on the candidate’s profile.
The summary brings together all scores, forms, and notes in one place, making it easier to review feedback.
