What is Clock-in station?
A Clock-in station is a shared device (tablet or smartphone) that employees use to register their working time.
How does it work?
Employees type in their unique code to start a time entry and enter the code again to finish it.
It’s a simple way to monitor worktime without logging into the app.
How to set up Clock-in station
To set up a Clock-in station, navigate to Configuration > Attendance > Clock-in station.
From there, you can add a new device and connect it with a unique code.
In the next section, we’ll walk through the configuration step by step.

Once you turn on the clock in station, you can configure the clock in station.
Add a new device
In the Device login codes section, you can click Add new device to generate a unique 9-digit code for your device. This process can be repeated for every device you want to connect.
Sign in on your device
On your tablet (or other preferred device), open a web browser and use the link displayed in the Setup section. Enter the generated code to sign in and link the device with your Clock-in station.
Turn on kiosk mode
You can also enable kiosk mode on your device. This restricts the device to the Clock-in station only, preventing access to other apps or functions.

In the Access tab you can decide who is allowed to use the Clock-in station.
By default, it is enabled for all employees. If you want to restrict access, you can assign it in three ways:
by selecting individual employees by name,
by choosing a department or group,
by assigning a location.

In the Customization tab, you can adjust the look and feel of your Clock-in station.
You can:
upload a logo
add a welcome message,
choose a theme.
📌 Tip: You can set your Clock-in station timer color in Company > Brand color settings.
At the bottom of the page, you can preview how the Clock-in station will look in both light and dark modes.

In the Employee Codes section, you can view the Clock-in station codes generated for employees.
This feature is especially useful if an employee forgets their code — you can quickly look it up here.

The steps above are enough to get your Clock-in station running. These optional improvements make it even more convenient and secure:
Install as an app
You can install the Clock-in station as a progressive web app (PWA) for easier access. Once installed, it behaves like a regular app.
Open the Clock-in station in your browser and select Add to Home Screen or Install (depending on the browser). Learn how to install a PWA.
Turn on kiosk mode
Kiosk mode locks the device to the Clock-in station so employees cannot use other apps.
iOS → enable Guided Access. Learn more

Keep the screen always on
To prevent the screen from turning off while in use, adjust your device settings:
iOS → option available when configuring Guided Access.
Android → configure in the device’s Display settings.
