What is Payroll?

Payroll is a module in TellentHR Manage used to maintain and process data about employees’ compensation. It also gathers other necessary information for financial settlements with employees, such as their attendance, absences, and expenses.


What is Salary?

Salary is a group of records in the Payroll module that stores information about an employee’s compensation. Within salary records, there are different categories such as base salary and additional pay.


What is Base salary?

Base salary is a salary record that contains information about an employee’s basic compensation. Only one base salary can be active at a time.


What is Additional pay?

Additional pay is a salary record that contains information about bonuses or other rewards given on top of an employee’s base salary (Base salary). A company can define multiple types of additional pay.


What is Pay run?

Pay run is the process of preparing and managing employee payments for a specific period. It has a start and end date and includes the employees who will be paid in that cycle. It helps keep all payroll information organized and ready for processing.


What is Paysheet?

Paysheet is a statement within the Payroll module that provides a summary of payroll-related information for a specific employee within a specific pay run.
