Not every team works the same way. Some work in entirely digital environments, while others work on construction sites or in hospitality venues.
Invite your entire team, including deskless employees, to Tellent HR by generating unique usernames and passwords.
This way, you can standardize company processes, trigger onboarding and offboarding tasks, run engagement surveys for everyone, and keep all employee data in one place.
Available for all Tellent HR Manage customers, as well as Tellent Recruitee customers with the Journeys add-on.
Invite team members with no email
Do this when you’d like to give employees access to Tellent HR without a company or personal email address.
Go to Settings > Team members and click + New member.
Select Invite team member(s).
Click Show advanced and change the Invitation type to Generate username and password.
You can generate a username based on their name (e.g., johndoe) or create a custom one, such as an ID or employee number.
When you invite employees this way, you cannot give them access to Recruitee or admin permissions.
Share the login details
After adding new employees, you can download a CSV file with their usernames, passwords, and the link to your company’s login page.
Since these employees do not have email addresses, you will need to manually share the login details from the CSV file with them. The passwords are temporary, so each employee must create their own password the first time they log in.
You can also create a QR code for your login page. Print it out and display it where employees can easily see it.
Add employees without giving them app access
Use this option to create an employee profile for record-keeping or to centralize data without providing them with login rights yet.
Go to Settings > Team members and click + New member.
Select Add employees to the list without giving them app access.
You can add them without any email or include a personal or work email for your records.
After saving, you can fill out their employee profile, start pre-onboarding, or finish and close. You can give them access at any time.
Start pre-onboarding for a new hire
This allows new hires to complete pre-onboarding tasks (such as uploading documents) using their personal email before their official start date.
Go to Settings > Team members and click + New member.
Select Start pre-onboarding for a new hire.
Enter their personal email, first name, and last name.
Choose the relevant journey type and set up the journey.
Once published, the employee will receive an invitation link at their personal email and can log in via a one-time secure code.
On mobile
From the mobile app, managers can invite new team members via email, add employees without giving them app access, and start pre-onboarding journeys.
To do this, tap the + button on the bottom navigation bar on the dashboard or open the side menu in the Employees view.
Inviting employees with a username and password isn’t supported on mobile.
Employees without an email address can log in to the mobile app by selecting Log in with username. They will need to enter the company domain or login page address before entering their username and temporary password.
