The Employee profile gives you a complete view of an individual employee’s information in one place. It includes personal details, job-related data, and documents that help HR and managers manage records efficiently. This article walks you through the different fields you’ll find in the Employee profile:
How to open an employee profile

Select the employee you want to view.

This layout provides quick, at-a-glance access to essential employee information that is generally non-confidential.
💡 Tip: Use the top menu to switch between employees without leaving the tab. Icons next to section titles indicate access permissions.
Attendance
Attendance
Statement
This section provides an overview of hours for the selected period. You can view by day, week, month, or a custom date range by clicking on the displayed date.
Expected attendance: Number of working hours based on the assigned typical working week.
Tracked: Hours actually worked.
Absences: Hours credited for approved absences.
Holidays: Hours credited for public holidays.
Total hours: Sum of worked hours, absences, and public holidays.
Balance: Difference between expected attendance and total hours.
Meal vouchers: Number of vouchers granted based on hours worked.
Overtime: Total recorded overtime hours.
Entries can be exported to CSV by clicking the Export button.
Overtime
This page displays the employee’s current overtime balance along with the history of all changes. The update frequency set in the time plan is also shown.
Administrators can adjust balances using the corresponding button and add a comment, which will be visible to the employee when saving the new balance.
Work schedule
This tab displays the employee’s saved working week and corresponding working hours. The working time model can be easily viewed and updated directly from this page.

This section shows the remaining days for each type of time off available to the employee. To submit a request, click the + Request time off button.Approvers
The Approvers section lists the individuals responsible for reviewing and approving the employee’s time off requests.
Requests
View all Time off requests submitted by the employee, including pending, approved, and declined requests.
Balances
Select a specific type of time off and an accumulation period to review:
Balance statement: Shows the available and used time off for the selected period.
Associated rules: Displays the policies and conditions linked to that type of time off.
This section helps employees and administrators keep track of time off usage
Payroll
Payroll
This section contains key payroll information and the employee’s bank details.
Salary
View the employee’s salary history, including base salary and any additional payments. Administrators can add new entries for salary and additional payments.
Paysheets
This page displays completed payroll runs organized by period. Clicking on a payroll cycle reveals detailed information, including:

Attendance
Payroll data can be exported in CSV or PDF format for reporting or record-keeping purposes.
Expenses
Expenses
This section provides an overview of all expense reports submitted by the employee. Clicking on a report opens the full details, which can also be edited if needed.
In addition to employees submitting their own expense claims, administrators and team leaders can submit claims on behalf of the employee.
The Approvers section lists the individuals responsible for reviewing and validating each expense claim.
Journeys
Journeys
This page displays the workflows and tasks to which the employee is assigned.
Current workflows are displayed, completed workflows can be viewed via the 'Show completed workflows' button.
Administrators and team leaders can create new workflows for the employee based on existing templates.
Assets
Assets
Assets is a Custom module that showcases all assets currently assigned to the employee. Based on the access levels defined, administrators, team leaders, and the employee can add, edit, or delete an asset.
Documents
Documents
This section contains folders, created by administrators and/or managers. These folders store the employee's uploaded documents. Based on the access levels defined, administrators, team leaders, and the employee can add, edit, or delete documents within these folders.
Change history
Change history
This section acts as an audit log for the employee profile. It records all updates made to the profile, giving you full visibility into what was changed and when. To make reviews easier, you can filter the history by specific profile fields or by date.
Account
Account
Employees can update their own account settings directly from their profile.
Under Profile, employees can edit:
First and last name
Account login email address
Phone number
Profile photo
Interface language (per Tellent product, e.g., Recruitee and HR)
Time zone and time format
Start day of the week
Under Security, employees can:
Change their login password
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
Grant temporary access to the Tellent support team for troubleshooting
Delete their user account
In the Companies section, employees can see all the companies they have been invited to and currently have access to.

The following e-mail notifications can be enabled and disabled:
Time-off
Emails about time-off requests. If disabled, you will receive them only in Tellent HR.Payroll
Emails about paysheets. If disabled, you will receive them only in Tellent HR.Expenses
Emails about expenses. If disabled, you will receive them only in Tellent HR.
Journeys
Notifications coming from your journeys or journeys where you have some tasks assigned.
Reminders
Reminders for date fields sent based on individual field settings.
📌 Note: Employees can only edit their own notification settings. Administrators, however, can adjust notification settings for all users in the account.
