Employees list
The Employees list is your central, searchable directory for viewing all active employees. It provides a quick reference to key details, such as each employee's position, location, and departments and groups.
To access your company’s employees list, navigate to Employees > List in the left-side menu.
Search bar
To quickly find a specific person, use the Search bar in the top-right corner. As you type a name, the search bar will suggest names to help you easily locate the person you're looking for.
+ Add employee
Use the + Add employee button if you wish to either:
Add an employee to the database for record-keeping without sending a login invitation.
Add an employee to the database and send them a Tellent HR login invitation.
Filters
You can filter down your search based on various criteria, such as position, department, employee status and more.
Open organisation chart
Use the Open organisation chart button if you wish to switch from the employees list to the organisation chart.
Export
To download the employees list, click the Export button. The exported CSV file will reflect exactly what you see on screen, including any active filters or customised columns. You can open the file using any spreadsheet program, such as Excel.
Edit table
Do you want to customise your employees list overview? No problem! To customise the information displayed on your employees list, click the Edit table button. You can then select or deselect various columns to personalise your overview.
Organisation chart
The Organisation chart provides a clear, visual overview of your company’s structure, helping you quickly identify colleagues and understand reporting lines.
To access your company’s organisation chart, navigate to Employees > Organisation chart in the left-side menu.
Search bar
To quickly find a specific person, use the Search bar in the top-right corner. As you type a name, the search bar will suggest names to help you easily locate the person you're looking for.
Export
To download a printable or shareable copy of the chart, click the Export button in the top-right corner. The PDF file will be named after your company account, as noted in the platform.
Toolbar
The toolbar on the right side of the chart gives you several options to adjust your view and navigate the organisational structure:
Zoom in/out
You can make use of the dedicated toolbar icons, your mouse scroll wheel, or a pinch-to-zoom gesture on a tablet.
Expand all / Collapse all
Show the complete organisational hierarchy or condense the view to a high-level overview.
Switch to vertical chart / Switch to horizontal chart
Change the chart layout from the horizontal view to a vertical one, or switch it back.
Fit chart view to screen
Instantly adjust the chart to fit the size of your current display with a single click.
Find me
Quickly locate your own position on the chart. Your place in the structure will be highlighted in purple.
