Frequently asked questions

How do classic reviews transition to Reviews?

Will classic reviews be discontinued? What will happen to ongoing campaigns?

Yes. Classic reviews will eventually be discontinued. They will remain available in read-only mode, so you can keep your complete history.

The change will not happen suddenly. We will let you know in advance once Reviews offers similar features. The change will happen in three steps:

  • We will set a date after which you can no longer create classic reviews.

  • You will have time to complete reviews and campaigns that are already in progress.

  • Classic reviews will then become read-only. You will keep access to your past reviews and campaigns.

Where can I find my classic reviews?

Reviews created with the previous format are grouped under “classic reviews.”

  • For HR: go to Performance > Classic review, or open the Classic review tab in your campaigns.

  • For employees and managers: all reviews appear in one list. You can open it from your profile, your dashboard, or the My team page. This list includes classic reviews, Reviews, and Talent Reviews.

What support is available during the transition?

You can use the following resources:

  • Help Center articles for step-by-step instructions.

  • The Support team, for questions or issues.

  • Your Account Manager, if you have one.

  • Weekly Q&A sessions, where you can explore specific topics and needs in more detail.

Can campaigns launched before the update use new analytics?

No. The analytics and report for classic reviews remain unchanged. To use the new analytics and report, create and launch Reviews campaigns. This update does not apply to campaigns launched before it.

How do Reviews and campaigns work?

How can I customize the emails that participants receive?

In Reviews, there is no initial invitation email or launch message. Emails are linked to each participant’s tasks.

  • When is an email sent? Reviews send an email for each task a participant needs to complete.

  • What does it contain? It contains the description shown in the review for that step.

  • What can I customize? You can customize this description in the review templates. For example, you can add instructions and the dates by which you want each step to be completed.

Can I schedule reviews individually after creating a campaign, for example, for a probation review?

No. The first launch of a campaign starts the reviews for all participants. You cannot schedule a launch on a different date within the same campaign.

Tip: You can add participants later and launch their reviews when you are ready. You need to launch these reviews manually.

If an employee has several managers, can they prepare the review together?

You can add managers as participants at any stage, but each manager prepares the review separately. Reviews do not support preparation that several managers write together.

During the review meeting, Reviews create one final record. You must choose one author for this record. Other managers listed as participants can see the final record. They can also see any earlier content you choose to share with them, such as preparation or feedback.

Note: You can change the author during the process, for example, if one of the managers is away for a long time.

Can custom fields be automatically included in a questionnaire?

No. Custom fields are not added to the questionnaire automatically. You can see them on the left side of the screen while you complete a review, but you cannot edit them from within the review.

Can I use conditional branching to identify “not assessable” responses?

No. Questionnaires do not currently support conditional branching (showing or hiding questions based on earlier answers).

Can I export campaign data to Excel?

Yes. You can export campaign data from Reviews to Excel.

How do objectives work in Reviews?

Can employees prepare mid-year reviews by entering their objectives?

Yes. Add an objectives question to the mid-year review. Employees can then complete and update their objectives.

The review stores the objectives as they were when you validated the review. These objectives appear again in the end-of-year review with their current progress, so you can review and finalize them.

Can I track objectives in Reviews?

Objective tracking remains available in classic reviews. It is not yet available in Reviews.

How do automatic campaigns work?

Can I define campaign criteria based on employee profile data, such as remote work or age?

Yes, but how you set it up depends on the criterion.

  • Remote work: create a dedicated group and use it as a campaign criterion.

  • Age: date-type custom fields are supported. Based on an employee’s date of birth, the tool calculates their age and can trigger a review at a specific age.

Can HRIS fields automatically trigger a review?

This depends on your HRIS (your HR information system) and the data it sends.

Age: some HRIS platforms send the date of birth by default. In that case, you can trigger a review at a specific age.

Note: Check whether your HRIS sends the date of birth.

How do Talent Reviews work?

Can I customize the Talent Review questionnaire?

No. Talent Review provides a ready-to-use questionnaire with predefined questions and structured analytics.

If you need a customized questionnaire, use Reviews. You can create a review that is similar to the Talent Review process. However, you will not get the structured analytics that come with the predefined questionnaire.

How do Bravos and Feedback differ?

Are the Bravos and Feedback modules identical?

No.

  • Feedback is personal and private.

  • Bravos are positive, public messages.

Bravos replaces the Feedback feature, which is only available to customers who were already using it.

Can all employees see Bravos comments?

Yes. Bravos are public, so all employees can read all comments.

As an administrator, you can delete a comment or turn off the feature.

How do pulse surveys work?

Can I filter pulse survey recipients?

No. Pulse surveys are sent to all employees. To target a specific group, use the survey feature.

How do 360 reviews work?

How can employees and managers add participants, or nominate reviewers, in Reviews?

In classic 360 campaigns, employees and managers could nominate people to provide feedback. This nomination feature is not yet available in Reviews.

In the meantime, you have two options:

  • Use classic campaigns.

  • Choose someone, such as the manager, as the review supervisor. They can add participants, and the employee can tell them who they would like to nominate.

Are feedback responses in 360 reviews anonymous?

Feedback provided in a 360 review is not anonymous. Depending on the settings, certain people can access its content.

However, an employee who only gives feedback cannot see the feedback from other participants.

Who can access dashboards?

Can managers access dashboards?

No. Dashboards are only available to users with an HR or Group HR role:

  • The HR role gives access to all reviews.

  • The Group HR role only gives access to reviews for employees in the groups linked to that role.

How can AI suggest skills?

Which roles can AI suggest skills for?

AI can suggest skills for any role in your list. You can choose which roles to include:

  • All roles in the list.

  • One role or a selection of roles.

The suggested skills are recommendations. Review them before you use them. AI supports your work, but you remain in control of the final choice.
